Sweet Solitude

Staring at the railway

I close my eyes and pray

Till a voice from far away

Tells me about the way

Smiling at the sun

I can hear its hum

And all of a sudden

There’ no need to run

My deep solitude

Not an attitude

My sweet solitude

Inner altitude

Follow the desert dunes

Such a silent tune

From July to June

An infinite fortune

Not a man around

No soul to be found

I need to touch the ground

Before the sun comes down

My eyes open wide

Wings ready for the ride

Wherever I go

Sweet silence will follow

Gentle wind through windmills

A never ending deal

Whatever you feel

You’ll never stop the wheel

As the sky turns to pink

Miss Moon gives me a blink

And I begin to think

Of the invisible

My deep solitude

Not an attitude

My sweet solitude

Inner altitude
